To celebrate International Dog Day we've put together a recipe so your doggo can do what they do best - eat! The best part, it uses leftover juice pulp so you can reduce your food waste while putting a smile on your pups face.
Below are some fun facts about our canine companions:
Over 50% of households in the US have dogs! That's a lot of pups to celebrate.
The tallest dog in the world is 44 inches tall - that's 3.5 feet of dog or, the height of an average third grader! 🙀
A Greyhound could beat a Cheetah in a long distance race! They'd probably have to eat the whole batch of these treats first though...
We hope you love this recipe and if you make them, don't forget to tag @modappliance_usa !
Preheat your oven to 275°F and line a cookie sheet with baking paper.
Using your MOD Blend Pro, add in the juice pulp, peanut butter, flax seeds and coconut oil. Blend until combine and then add in the oats and blend again until a dough starts to form.
Roll out the dough on a clean countertop and use cookie cutters to cut your biscuits into fun shapes.
Place on a prepared sheet and bake for about 60 minutes until slightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
